Once a year, there is a huge flooring trade show in Las Vegas called Surfaces.

This is where all of the manufacturers of laminate flooring in the world meet.  The last two years, I have spent most of my time at the Balta booth.  The first year, I was so excited, that I purchased the display floor and took it home to play with it.  I could not find one negative thing about this floor.  Please read on and I'll explain why Balta is such a great choice.

Isometric Locking Mechanism=No Stress On the Joints

Balta spent several million dollars perfecting their own new locking system.  Is is so easy that a child could install it.  It uses the new isometric double locking mechanism (similar to the new Kronoswiss version) that locks easier and more tightly than the other systems I have seen. 

Ease of Installation

The number one question most customers have is... Can I REALLY install this myself?  How easy is it in REALITY?  I put this question to the ultimate test and videotaped my 6 year old grandson, Douglas, installing it himself.  (You can see what I mean when you view our information video sent with samples.)  I figure that if a 6 year old can do it you can do it too!  You simply put the tongue into the groove at a slight angle and let the laminate release to the floor. 

 Thickness

We carry a 7, 7.5, 8, and 9 mm thickness in the Balta line.  All of them have a dense core that provides strength and stability, even in the 7mm version.  We have been extremely pleased with all of their products.  The 7.5, 8 and 9mm Balta floors we carry also have a water warranty.  The density of the core and tightness of the joint allows for a much more water impervious laminate.

 

Surface Texture=Realism

Are you tired of looking at laminate flooring that has no texture and looks more like a piece of flat plastic or Kmart furniture? 

The surface texture of all our Balta floors appear as real wood.  The embossed texture on the Balta products mimic real wood.  The 7.5 mm Authentic Style has the heavier wood grain texture with a soft satin finish. 

The 9mm Tradition has the same texture as the 7.5 Authentic Style, but incorporates a v groove to simulate a beveled edge hardwood.  Unlike beveled edge hardwoods that are difficult to clean, the Balta V-groove is laminated all the way to the edge of the board.  This makes the product easy to clean even where the V-Groove is located.
